On 13-15 July 2018 the 3rd FrieslandCampina Institute Asia symposium was held in Cebu (The Philippines). This symposium convened paediatricians from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore in a highly engaging programme discussing the role of nutrition in optimising gut health and growth in young children.

Over 55 paediatricians from various countries throughout the Asian region were present. They were served an interesting program, with a scientific deep dive into the optimal nutrition for growth and development of infants brain, gut, cognition and immunity. They also learned about clinical insights on treatments and managing feeding when gastrointestinal disorders occur.
